Play Theory (2025)

Something feels off. A friction I can't ignore.

We've forgotten how to play. Reality has collapsed into a Game. Finite, rule-based, made to be won. But games are only one narrow kind of play. The open-ended kind, the exploratory kind, the infinite kind, that's what we've lost.

The internet could be the greatest adventure playground we ever built. Instead we're turning it into another game board, and racing to climb the leaderboard.

This zine explores that gap. A living archive of thoughts, ideas, insights, and shared hallucinations, made in collaboration with AI.

We lost play. Game over. Restart.
